Since the launch of the Dangerous Observation / Near Miss reporting incentive scheme in Jan 2021 we received many near miss reports, the first winner Steve Appleton, a AFUK (Levolux balcony assembly Subcontractor) employee working at our St Helens site is presented with the £50 amazon voucher by Chris Armstrong (Levolux Construction Director).
Steve reported the poor condition of the rear yard was causing transportation of suspended balcony’s / loads to swing dangerously. Reported that they are having to manoeuvre loads extremely slow, with extra personnel to stabilise the loads due to the swing. As a result of the near miss management are looking to improve the condition of the yard.
